Inspirations

Looking back, I remembered I was a fan of Don Moen and Sidney Mohede.

Back when I was around 10 year old, my sister gave me a birthday gift. A cassette of a gospel song by Giving My Best (GMB). The album "RISE UP" made me fell in love with gospels. The frontman, Sidney Mohede inspired me so much. I also never thought I'd be meeting him.

In the past 2 months, I went to Jakarta Praise Community Church (JPCC). One of the youth pastors is Sidney Mohede. From that moment, meeting him wasn't impossible.

This Sunday, I went to an Asia Conference held at City Harvest Church. I didn't expect that I will see one of them. Don Moen was there, singing a couple of gospel songs. I was surprised yet I've become excited. I felt so thankful that I can see him. Never in my life I thought I'd see him. I often listened to his sweet and peaceful songs. How wonderful it was hearing him singing live.

Deep in my heart, I want to thank them for inspiring me along my life. How their songs brought me closer to God.
